Final Roster for season opener

Deron/Jack/Gut
Bogs/Anderson/Brown
Johnson/AK47/Karasev
KG/MT3/Jefferson
Lopez/Plumlee/Jordan

Not too shabby...

Last season's opening roster:

Deron/Livingston/Taylor
Joe/Terry/Anderson
Pierce/Kirilenko/Toko
KG/Teletovic/Evans
Lopez/Plumlee

We're still as deep as last season.

Jack is good or better than livingston, pierce took away shots and bogs can fill his role easily and jerome, jefferson and plumlee replace blatche

The best possible outcomes IMO. Gutierrez is better than teague. Jefferson has more upside than Teague. Jordan earned it more than teague.

Now... LETS GET THE SEASON STARTED, PLEASE.

blatche was on last years team too to start the year.

i think we are deeper then last year coming in, but its more concentrated. PF and SG are question marks coming in... we have tons of depth at center but its unclear at PF

more then anything we need mirza or plumlee to turn into a legit starting PF

We're better than last year, clearly. We have questions, but the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Coming into last year most of us thought this was a 55+ win team, ECF contender, and a darkhorse shot at the Finals. Then last season took place and what happened happened.

Every year all fans rationalize the faults of the previous year and project them to not be as bad in the upcoming year. Also, we have no idea what awaits us this season.

A lot of us are comparing this year's "on paper" team with last year's reality.

I prefer to take the 'one game at a time' approach.

Hollins is biggest addition with jarrett jack,, pierce isnt a big loss cause he was hero ball too much and didnt , me,sh, ,well with joe johnson

Hollins can take a team to a level that jason kidd could never do, plus evans and terry were awful

man, not sure where any of that is coming from. pierce was the opposite of a hero-baller. he defered to joe plenty in the clutch, and his FGA were pretty low, when he did shoot, he did so with pretty elite efficiency. him and joe were good together and a big part of our turnaround.

i dont think losing pierce is a huge hit, but dont agree with what you wrote either.

Could care less about Pierce, Johnson carried this damn team.

I like Jack a lot, but I'd take Livingston over Jack...With Pierce gone there should be plenty of good looks for guys who can shoot the ball, it's just a matter of making them...

Bogs is struggling but he is still young, pierce is 38? Jack is struggling but is better than livingston offensively
