Post#1 » by Prokorov » Sat Apr 18, 2015 5:33 pm

Figured we needed a spot to discuss some of the other series around the league. Kicking off today:

Wiz @ Raps

Pelicans @ GS

Bucks @ Bulls

Mavs @ Rockets

Wizards are playing unfocused, but they are the better team. Pierce is playing well, I thought the "Paul Pierce sucks" chants early on were hilarious

It be a pleasure watching Pierce continue to own the Raptors souls.

raps cant win vs the wize if the games are gonna be in the 80's.

they are playing derozan right, never double and let him shoot as many long jumpers as he wants. makes the raps stagnant and he is kind of an awful mid range shooter. when you double him, he makes a ton of plays and if you press him he is great drawing contact

John wall is super athletic and super quick, but I am not a fan of his game. Can't shoot from anywhere, takes terrible shots and is useless without the ball.

Non-Nets Playoff Thread

Raptors organization needs to stop **** chirping all the damn time. It makes it really hard to like them when they act like the greatest team ever.

They need to stop **** talking every chance they get. Just play solid basketball and leave it at that. Otherwise you look foolish like last season with "**** Brooklyn" and calling Pierce and KG dinosaurs. Now **** talking Pierce, and wha happens, he comes in and dominates.

I think the Raps will win the series but they need to calm the **** down and just play

Wait, so it wasn't the refs fault this time?

No, I know the Raptors haven't had the best 2nd half, but was it wrong to expect a bit more from them in the opener? Same for the Wizards.

that matchup is bound to provide ugly games. a team that cant score vs a team that cant stop anyone

What a ridiculous game Dallas @ Houston is. I kinda don't wanna go out now.

Refs need to finally catch on to Harden's head snapping on drives and just not call anything on his drives anymore (or actually give him a tech for flopping). I don't know whether to shake my head at Harden or roll my eyes at the ref.

Jason Terry's knocking down shots tonight. yes he's a turnstile on defense, but when he was with he was a next level bum who couldn't defend or hit a shot

didn't see this. I just commented on it, saying the same thing. He was beyond terrible here. Thornton was such a huge upgrade to him and now the few times I've watched Houston this year I see him knocking down these shots. Thought he would be out of the league.

Agreed.

24 points on 4-11 shooting and 17 ft attempts. Sorry but I can't vote for a guy as an MVP who literally relies on officiating to bail out his crappy performances. He hasn't shot 50% or better in a playoff series.
