man, watching the post game. so happy for dwill. as much as i despise him as a player for most of the time he is such a great dude off the court im glad to see him to well.

and watching vintage dwill is so good to see. when he has that hop in his step and has it going its fun to watch.

the best was he hits a 3, we get a rebound, dwill is waving and screaming at jack for the ball. gets it and fires and knows its in and the place erupts

crowd was great tonite from what i can tell

Deron had some monster end to end sequences too. He made some AWESOME plays defensively then turned right around and either scored or got an assist. He was locked in defensively. Not just on Teague but helping out, not giving up easy buckets. Even on those offensive rebounds, he was boxing out Carroll and jumping for the boards - Carroll was just to big. He was there though - it's not like he dozed off.

There's something concerning though. We're basically playing 7 guys. I don't think that's sustainable. Brook was gassed early and often in the 2nd half. Plumlee played 4 minutes tonight, he needs to at least be adequate out there.

I can honestly say - I don't think I've seen Deron hit a tough shotclock buzzer beater in at least 2 years. Most guys get lucky and hit something wild randomly. Haven't seen anything like that from DWill in a while. CRAZY time to break that trend

One of the greatest Net playoff games of all time and we WON!!!

I am so happy for Dwill I know that had to feel good, hopefully his confidence came back and he can score regulary now.

Nets need to focus on defense and rebounding from here on out, and Joe has to stop shooting long jumpers and just play in the post.

Plumlee has to be benched from here on out, play Jordan or CJ over him, he is atrocious defensively.

this is the playoffs. most teams shorten their rotation to 7 or 8 guys unless they are just comfortably winning the series.

it was smart of hollins to tighten it up even more, you need to play the guys you can trust. right now those only guys are jack and anderson. plumlee needs to play better, but if he isnt early cant risk putting him back out there. also cant really mess around playing dleagues or guys who havent played all year.

you have 6-8 rotation minutes to play with in the first half. if guys dont respond then you need to rid your core guys in the second half.

i dont want to see plumlee unless he is playing positive ball those 4-6 miinutes he gets early.

glad brook acknowledge his lack of energy and head up his but play the later stages of the game. and im glad he wants to be better even in a win where he had big numbers.

a bounce back game from brook and joe being the next guy to get the hot hand in game 5 would be big

7 man rotation is tough. Hollins gave Plumlee chances but he can't really be trusted offensively, defensively or on the boards. Throwing Mirza out there is just tough. It's basically preseason for him and everyone else is in playoff mode. I wouldn't mind throwing him out there when Mike Scott is in the game just to give Thad a breather and to save JJ at PF for the Millsap matchup.

That's fine, but one of the reserves is usually a big man. Going 7 deep without a backup bigman is dangerous especially when the starter is a lumbering 7 footer with foot problems playing 40+ minutes every night. Plumlee needs to play better even if it's for 12 minutes.

normally yes. but you can sub in anderson for lopez and slid thad to the 5 when horford is on the bench as antic and milsap are small as bigs. that lineup with thad at the 5 helped us go on that big run to start the 4th.

i jsut dont think we can trust plumlee right now. im fine giving him 4 minutes to show something early or giving those 4 to jordan to see i he can earn a second half cameo

At this point, Jordan or Mirza cant be worse than Plumlee.

I think this is Hollins rubbing off on Lopez. Can't remember which game it was, but similar theme. He essentially called himself out during post-game interview. Last game he talked about himself forcing the ball for a few possessions. Now, he talks about his lack of energy. This is what we've always wanted a coach to instill with our players, and it seems Lopez has really taken it to heart: accountability.
