Here's hoping he turns out to be the sleeper pick of the draft and makes Thad Young replaceable in the future. A lot of it will depend on whether he can become a consistent shooter in the NBA. And his supposed soft mentality issues but players can get past that (Andre Drummond being a recent example)

The blog did report a league source saying that his debut is very close.

Outside of D'angelo Russell, there isn't a lot of 'work in progress' rookies this season. I wouldn't be surprised if Chris comes out the gate strong and then hits the wall later.

He was pretty raw in college. Even with him practicing for a while, it would seem pretty reasonable to expect him to be very raw in his NBA first games.

I don't expect much in his first handful games. He should actually be on a 15-20 minute restriction for February.

His intangibles was always ahead of his offense but I think we may see some spurts of offensive skills after a month or so of consistent minutes to get him acclimated.

I would be astonished if he looks anything but lost out there for the first few weeks.

If we any semblance of composure and skill in the first 10 games, he's a steal.

I look forward to yelling at a new player soon lol.

I just don't see the quickness yet.

Yeah, he's agile but we haven't seen the explosive first step that George has.

I dont think he has that good of a handle. He looks more like a Pick and Pop / Pick and Roll guy who use to be able to out jump people. I just hope he gets back that pre injury athleticism.

Not really worried about that.

Can he hit mid range and 3 pt shots at a good clip?

if he does that, i don't care about dunks. I'm looking at lateral quickness on defense and rebounding outside of his shot. He can work on ball handling.

My syracuse buddy says he's put on a ton of muscle since he's left... that's at least a step in the right direction. Here's to hoping he pans out as an NBA player!

Tried to tell the blog that as well. I received a reply with a highlight video of him doing 1 or 2 basic crossovers in a no defense, And-1 mixtape style game lol.
