Lol, top 10? that's pretty bold
not top 10, as id vote all the guys already on the ballot ahead of him.
So i'd have him at 12. and im not sure that is so crazy.

Lillard, who others are nominating is at:

For me its close offensively and Thomas is the better defender and a guy who fits better within a team. Lillard has a -3.37 defensive rapm, which is 77th out of 82 qualifying point gaurds and 440th out of 453 qualifying players in the NBA overall. Thomas, while not a great defender, is not the complete sieve that lillard is.
You could make a strong argument that of all the players in the NBA who start, lillard is one of if not the worst defender in the league. and while PG defensve overall is not super important, and that things like intangibles and what not arent high among reasons to rate one guy over another.... but i think to me it does drop lillard below thomas, as offensively/efficiency wise thomas is right there with him.
if you want to say lillard is better, thats fine, but to "lol" at thomas and then be ok with nominating lillard is offbase. especially when 12-20 area is so murky. some people didnt even nominate anyone
Thomas is an outstanding player
