Idk guys...Porter isn't doing anything to really debunk what I've been saying all season. I'd prefer to take gambles on cheaper free agents with lesser reputations than give Porter or KCP max dollars.

Blake Griffin is not going to consider the Nets.

I don't know how things always lead towards these outrageous free agent discussions but sure enough, here we are again

There's a better chance Boston declines to swap picks with us than there is Griffin signing with the nets Lol.

The Blake discussion isn't outrageous when he is just 1 of the many options we should be considering. We have already dissected KCP and Porter. Again, I'm not pushing for Blake.

unfortunately blake will probably want to chase the ring however, the nets do not have a clear #1 option. neither Lopez nor Lin are #1 players so if there is a player out there that wants to take on as the undisputed "man" of the team, the Nets have an opening. I don't think Lopez will be bothered especially if the player is a wing and doubt Lin would have any problems. in KA's offense, there's going to be plenty of shots to go around.

I understand. I just think that expectations often get set way too high going into an offseason. Last season around this time, people were talking as if guys like Mike Conley were realistic options.

if we're coming off of a 45 win season and we had a max contract slot, by all means shoot for the stars in expectations. But for this offseason, coming off a bottom 3 season for the 2nd time in 2 years, unless we get one of the restricted free agents we're not going to get anyone really good on the open market to come here.

KCP arrested on suspicion of DUI.

I wonder if this would affect management's stand on him this offseason.

Skil, trade
Lopez, trade
Booker, trade

Depth:
PG: Lin
G/F: Levert, IW, KJMcD, Harris, *Skil
F: RHJ, Acy, *Booker
C: *Lopez

I absolutely agree with trading Skill and Booker for a 2018 pick. RHJ already does 90% of what Booker does and Acy seems like a quality backup who should really be a 4 (especially when we draft the best big available) so I think should move him for an asset. Whitehead and one of KJ or Goodwin replace what Skill brings so moving him is a no brainer. I would love to package Booker and Skill to Toronto for Cory Joseph and the 2018 first. They get cheap options to solidify their bench, we get a genuine backup pg and a pick. Would love to pull that off.

SKilz + Booker for Joseph + 2018 1st may be the best trade that could happen to the Nets.

CoJo is the perfect back up PG for our team and that open roster spot is awesome

Cory Joseph? Are you high on something?

Marks publicly said he wouldn't trade Brook unless he got 2 first round picks. That shows how much he values him even if the fan base doesn't ....100+ 3 pointers this year, the team's best player and people want to trade him for less than he's worth to this team....
He scored 30 points last night but it's never enough.

Marks and co have been to Russia many times this season watching and scouting his game. I'm sure he will be in the short list of targets.
