Agree with you here...It just didn't feel like he wanted to win tonight...Foye was having the worst game as a Nets but yet, he managed to play 23 minute tonight..How about letting KJ get his minutes...Foye shouldn't be playing more than 15 minutes again this season.

I don't care what kind of talent we have or lack but Kenny lost this game. I don't see him coaching on the sideline or giving instructions or drawing anything up.

Foye shouldn't get minutes but I blame the young guys for not taking minutes from him too. Levert was invisible today. Dinwiddie was again very passive on offense and committed five fouls on defense.

Dallas went into a hard zone. I dunno why Kenny didnt bring in some zone buster personnel to at least force DAL to get out of it. Put in JHam, Acy, Levert, SKil, Lin and lets see if DAL stays in that zone. There was that stretch where we had NOTHING going cuz the team couldnt figure out how to attack it.

A team so bad at both defense and rebounding is rare. They don't stop opponents often, and when they do they give away a second chance. Fixing just one of the two would go a long way.

The game from the middle of the 3Q on was a ****. The team looked lost and like it wanted to just end the roadtrip and just go home. The stat sheet says the team had 12 turnovers but it felt like 25 turnovers. I don't know how many times RHJ seemed to dribble the ball off his foot. Foye and Skil were complete non-factors. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but Lin just disappeared in the 2nd half, almost like someone told him, "Do whatever you must in the 2nd half to completely disappear while still playing 14 minutes." Ultimately, I gotta blame KA for this one -- at some point, he needs to tear his team a new hole and light into them.

The team had a great flow, maintaining a good 5 pt cushion lead throughout the 1st half and early 2nd half, and then KA just lost it without making adjustments, like he didn't really care about winning or not.

Looking at the boxscore at the end, it does look like IW had a good game but it certainly didn't seem that way. I don't know how he scored 24.

Kenny did not want to lose the game. He was just schooled in the second half by Carlisle, a really good coach.

And not to harp or focus on Lin too much, but with Lopez out, Lin needed to take control of team, even heroball it if necessary. If Kenny was gonna be laissez faire about not making adjustments, then Lin needs to step in and be the coach on the floor. But Lin was content to just continue to give the ball up and passively run around.

You can't blame Lin for following the system. What do you want him to do? Go up to Kenny and say, "No I won't pass it off after halfcourt, I'll do my own thangg?"

Also to take into consideration is that Lin is not 100% yet so they may defer to others more.

I think you're a bit too tough on Lin here..He still has to run Kenny's MO offense and can't just freelance and do whatever he wants...And Kenny doesn't want him to be Knicks Linsanity, he wants him to facilitate and run the offense....It's not like he can go heavy PnR and try to take over on his own.

We have no rim protector and Acy isn't a true center. That's all this game indicated:m. Lin put up a passive 18/5. Solid passes but he looked like a sloth.

Also, I don't see how Whitehead didn't pass the eye test tonight. This was a breakout shooting game. He's excelling as a shooting guard aka his natural position.

Lin still doesnt have full power in his legs. Im sure if he was at 100% he'd attack a helluva lot more, but right now he just doenst have the extra gear to get by people. I mean for crying out loud he couldnt blow by Saleh Mejhri on the switches in the 1st half.

Right now Lin is taking it easy and picking his spots. Kenny's offense dictates ball movement and Lin will do his part in moving that ball. Its just the team is throwing up slop instead of actually following the game plan. That 3rd quarter started off so well and then went to **** in a hurry.

You can't claim to want nastiness and then take it easy. You want to be a leader, act like one. Assert yourself. Take over. Put guys where they belong. I'm tired of his passiveness.
