Hondas are hella reliable. Trying to find an older one as a work beater has been pointless in the current used car market though. A nice higher mileage 10 year old Accord that would have went for like 6 to 8k a year ago is like 12-15 now, it's insane.

yeah, moved to RI... less boston crowd, but still celtic fans to deal with.

My daughter got a tick bite today at the in laws. freaked us out but i guess they give a broad antibiotic and she should be good.

having kids is just an ongoing case of anxiety

you good?

Yeah man, tick bites are scary, my mother had Lyme and I have a number of friends who have it and some of them have had some serious, ongoing complications.

Visited Providence for a 4 day weekend a few years back, was instantly one of my favorite cities, that's exciting, wish you luck!

I was just busy with work and stuff, then recently an older family member got sick and passed, coupled with the Nets losing and I was just overwhelmed with stuff, especially free time and didn't want to further infect the board with negativity haha.

I had a BRZ, lost it due to flooding recently, fought with insurance to get them to use proper market comps (to no avail), but based on my research had I put the car on the market it would have sold for maybe 2 grand less than what I purchased it for despite the car being 8 years old (I purchased used and owned for 5-6) and having 3x the mileage on it from when I purchased it... The car market is just brutal right now.

I'm doing well, man, had to step away from the Nets for a long, long time because of a job I was doing, but trying to get back now. Is anyone else still around?

Some of the regs are here still, most including myself are on and off though.

MDB abandoned ship for the Knicks…  :uhoh:

Something happened with Prok I think, I wasn’t here for it though, I took a hiatus myself right before that happened.

I've noticed a few still in the General forum, but yeah, seemingly only on and off.

But like, why?

I've been going through some old threads, man, the old ass random threads were active, it was crazy. You all made deaths and break ups bearable. I'm glad you're still around, though, good to see someone from the past I can still interact with, haha.

I was looking at an old trade game that you and I played in, I came in first, you in second, haha, but...like...my trade was awful in retrospect. Rondo for Paul George, yikes.

Throw the link up on here if you have it lol.

What direction do you think the team is going to go in by next season?

Wait for a long shot at Luka? Try and force a move with the Cavs or Grizzlies? Stay put, tread some mill and wait for one of those lotto tickets to materialize into a high lotto pick?

Probably a little from column A and a little from column B. All of my contacts from the Nets are gone now, so I don't have any inside info anymore, outside of the people from other teams that I know, but I think it all depends on the first few months of this season. By trade deadline, they're going to have an idea of what they'll be doing for the next three years.

I will say, pretty sure Ben's gone on the first good train they can find, though.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
