I was the biggest anti-Cam J guy coming into the tear. Hated the contract. Thought he was a stiff.

I think hes been our highest quality player this year. Hes been pretty consistent. Engaged. Locked in. Not doing too much which guys fo especially on a new big contract.

Ill be honest Ive come around on him. He is most definitely not the problem right now. At all.

Yeah I agree. Cam J may be a bit overpaid. But hes been solid this season and done what we would expect.

The main disappointments have been Simmons, Dinwiddie, Bridges and Claxton.

I don't think he's overpaid. It's a fair contract, and this year was the most expensive year. It bottoms out in '25.

Cam Johnson is shooting a career high from the field and three-point arc, while also posting a career high in assists per game... he hasn't been the problem.

The team lacking an overall offensive identity and a go-to scorer has been...

For what he's paid comparative to others the CJ contract is just fine.

Plenty of contending teams would kill for him... In a trade he won't bring back an all-star but he's a positive value player + contract.
