1 -- Money and the Repeater Tax:

We likely save $8 Mil next year with a 36 year old Young expiring.

We save $8.7 Mil next year versus signing Murray.

We save $5.7 Mil next year versus signing Russell.

We save $9.5 Mil next year without Royce.

2 -- Expirings: Young this year and Schroder next year -- with Ben,

3 -- They hope Ben will last because they traded DSJ also, I think. (Edit: DSJ not traded.)

4 -- The three picks for Royce and/or a thank you for Mikal and CJ. The Suns will be much stronger with a good small forward, who can also play big, and is a good floor general for a team with only one (a backup) point guard. (Edit: Traded their only point guard.)

5 -- To re-sign Nick and hopefully Walker without tax consequences which would have probably necessitated losing them.

6 -- Turkish Revenge: To whomever deserves it if "Decipher" is right and we become that bad.

I loved Thad the first time around. Hes old as dirt now but Ill always like him because of his first tenure.

As probably his only fan left in the State, I'd love to see him on the Suns, who traded their only backup point guard, or even Lakers. I'm already fighting to stay awake to watch the Suns when I can.
