Last game of the road trip.....Playing a team we should beat. The Hawks have been losing but so have we. There is still a chance with 14 games left.

Should have traded Bridges and rebuilt through the draft…

There's plenty of time to do that. This is a weak draft. There's no rush to get into this one.

If we make a top 3 jump, still think it affects the return. Houston may try to lighten the offer, they may pivot with something like the #1 overall and the rest of their treasure trove of our future picks, and their collection of desirable prospects and land a true star. Maybe one of our targets!

Stating for the record again.
Those Phoenix picks and Dallas picks are so valuable and likely to strike gold multiple times, there should be zero desire to trade them at all, for anything short of Luka, SGA, Jokic, Tatum, Edwards, Ja, or Wemby. Literally and specifically.

Or if someone like Banchero looks like he’s going to be an absolute superstar.

I love Mitchell, he’s so underrated, but I wouldn’t even be excited to see them deal those picks for him. I’d be guarded and accepting, because Nets.

Sure there will be more options. Maybe there will be a SGA and picks to OKC type trade.

But it would have been the move to just tank with our own picks for a few years, with the added Suns and Mavs picks in our back pocket.

Imagine 2025 rolls around we have two shots at the #1 overall and Flagg? And whoever we drafted in ‘24? Cam let to go straight ham for the whole season so everyone can finally see what he really has?

Impatient, egotistical owner who let his pride get in the way.

Main issue with this team has always been Simmons and Bridges.

Simmons is eating 40 million to not play. Bridges was supposed to be an All star level player.

He is who we thought he was. A role player. A nice #3 on a good team. But completely miscast as a #1.

Wr should have traded him for our picks back to the Rockets. Maybe we can do it in the off season. This isn't working and we need our picks back.

Give me Jalen Green and our picks and they can have him. They can even keep our lottery pick from this year if need be.

If the rumors for the offers we were getting for Bridges were true then, yeah, we probably should have pulled the trigger. His value has to be taking a hit with how he's played this season.

Scam Johnson is the 53RD highest paid player in the NBA this season. Guessing he is around a 130 to 150 player in the league. Good luck with that Sean.
