Slow Form RealGM Mock Draft

Post#1 » by dice » Fri May 29, 2009 2:34 pm

No clock here!

When the Nets board makes their call I move on to the next team board. I'll wait until it seems a clear frontrunner has been determined. If that cannot be accomplished a reasonable selection will be made for you :wizard:

1. Griffin
2. Rubio
3. Thabeet
4. Harden
5. Evans
6. DeRozan
7. Holiday
8. Hill
9. Jennings
10. Blair

And with the #11 pick New Jersey takes...?

(Feel free to dispute/defend logic)

Why would Blair go at 10?

Regardless, I love Clark, but unless we free up some spots at the 4, I am taking James Johnson every day of the week right now.

guess the bucks board is comfortable enough with what they have at PG relative to what they have at PF. anyway, i've seen projections with him going there, so it doesn't seem like much of a stretch to me. there are more debatable choices further up the board if you ask me

it's clear that it's gonna be clark or johnson here at #11 guys. i've gone through all the page 1 draft-related threads to find out which way people are leaning and i think i have a winner but i'll let it go a bit here to see if any new voices chime in

CLARK VS JOHNSON

if there's a tie vote or something maybe i'll take passion and persuasiveness into account. last resort will be a coin toss

Haha you can't call it a "coin toss" anymore. It shall forever be known as a "Crennel Toss" in my book. Romeo couldn't decide who would start at QB last season AFTER all the OTA's and preseason watching DA and Brady Quinn...so he flipped a coin the morning of week 1.

Regardless, I'm happy with Johnson or Clark, but as of this moment, I got Johnson a notch higher but you already knew that.

I have been wanting James Johnson for a long time. But if Derozan falls to us, we take him.

Stephen Curry... NBA now is becoming a 3pt. shooting game and we need to pick up a deadly shooter. Just trade for defense.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
