Good trade IMO if it means clearing time for other forwards.

4th round pick (possibly 3rd but unlikely) is not bad at all for a player of Brown's level. Smart trade for Nonis.

Oilers need a player like Brown, their 4th line has been a disaster this year as recently illustrated by Hall having to take a suspension on a retaliatory attack for a team mate. You don't have your best player doing that crap.

So who knows, Edmonton might make it.

But a third for Brown is robbery, imo.

I'm happy with it. Team didn't have much of a need for Brown with guys eventually coming back from injury. Our checking line depth is quite good atm
