The injuries are obviously taking their toll, but our squad was still right there at the end.

It’s not easy to sweep teams, especially when you’re as short handed as us. Every other series is split too.

Jalen is clearly not 100%. If he doesn’t improve fast we’re in trouble with no OG, but just got to take 2 more. I know he will learn from this game.

Donte has been amazing. Alec showed he can play some minutes, which is huge. Josh is doing his thing. Deuce got back on track. They needed great games from Hali, Siakam, Turner, and a miracle shot to win. Lots of positives despite the loss.

Even if we lose tomorrow, it’s still the best of 3 with 2 home games. They got this. Keep moving forward.

Siakam grabbed Hartenstein on the other end so Indiana got the easy layup. Ridiculous. That sequence was the game right there.

Maybe we should send a one-minute video too the league office. Or to the Pacers.

In terms of technical production, it's not anything special, but I like it for the purpose of the track it was used for, it sounds real dark and ominous.

Plus I love Alchemist beats so dude could sample a wet fart over some hard ass drums and I'd probably nod along

Speaking of the Alchemist I was listening to one of my favorite beats of his earlier today

His catalogue is crazy.

Yeah Three was a good one, thanks for the reminder.

I thought Nas sounded particularly great over Alchemist production. It's too bad their collaboration in the early-2000s didn't last longer. Mastermind was my jam.

We're hobbled but having a joke coach who runs no offense other than iso-CAA is brutal. I really hope he doesn't Isaiah Thomas Brunson and cripple the guy.

was there one game in the entire playoffs were the team that lost wasn't "screwed" by the refs?

Well as far as our games go, sixers games 1, 4, and 6. Pacers game 2.

Most of our wins have come in fairly officiated games. Yet ALL of our opponent wins have come in poorly officiated games.

Sixers game 3 - we all know
Sixers game 5 - Maxey missed travel
Pacers game 3 - another game 3 makeup for a crybaby coach

I love it. People forget what it was like during those 90s playoff wars, but the home team (or Jordan on the road) always got the whistles. We just live in an era of hyper fixation and identity grievance where conspiracy theorists get more air time than Pulitzer Prize winners.

The ref didn’t consciously intend to throw the jumpball toward Indy. He’s just being a normal human standing in a room of 20,000 rabid fans biased toward yellow. It’s the same sh*t that’s always happened.

How can u say that when we almost beat them in Indiana and they won by one of the luckiest shots and the refs gifting them?

Because you can’t count on Divo going nuts in consecutive.

Yeah it's kinda crazy that Nas and Al never worked together more. Book of Rhymes is one of my favorite songs of all time:

Just a simple loop, and Nas spitting straight up fire. Doesn't get much better.

Also, I was telling my friend today that JB needs to know when to takeover and when hero ball won’t work. If I’m coach, I’m telling him to work on that in the summer during exit interviews. He’s got teammates for a reason. Sometimes hero ball MEANS getting your teammates involved.

Either way, it is what it is. No complaints. Adjust and adapt then take game 4.

Agree 100%. Love Jalen but he sure does make a lot of mistakes at the end of games. He'll try to make stupid passes and make bad turnovers and try to play hero ball and not use his teammates sometimes. It's hard saying that because he's also so good at making huge shots at the end of games but he's been making too many mistakes in these playoffs.

I said this as soon as it happened. Hamstrings are too tricky and too easily reinjureable (not sure if that's a word) and that's for any normal player, which OG isn't because he's had a career of soft tissue injuries. :banghead:
