Eh, i stop hating Lebron a while ago. He's got my respect...again. Still don't want to see him win a championship with the Heat though, and still love the hairline/4th quarter jokes.

Watch the speech rather than an excerpt, it's pretty moving given that it's mostly unrehearsed and you can see the raw emotion Lebron has for the game and the appreciation he has for the people that helped him get into his privileged position.

Love and appreciation my ass....all that flopping is a spit in the face to the game he professes to love.

Thank you. He was not nervous nor was he emotional. This was a contrived PR stunt to get people to like him again.

Its a shortcut...but its not "cheating"

Any team would have taken those 3 guys. And lets be honest...Its not like they are a great fit either. Bosh isnt the player he was in Toronto. And Wade/LeBron still have trouble in the half court.

Its easier for the Heat....but it isnt easy..

I am going to say this again what they did by pre-planning this is illegal. Period when they is a union n place you can set a a market price for services or goo then it is price fixing. Never mine Pat the rat had dinner with him when he was under contract to to Cleveland, Cleveland never pursued this because they did not want the big baby to feel threatened.
So in short they cheated, he cheated, Miami cheated you would need to be a fool or a cheat fan not to see this

I personally found his speech to be very thoughtful and genuine. I don't much care for him as a person but he's one ridiculous beast of a player.

It wasn't quite as endearing as DRose's speech last year, but LeBron said some very kind things and didn't talk too much about himself (which is what I expected). On that note, the dude deserved MVP 100%

I'm still waiting for that part that's suppose to be "funny."

It was a good speech, not that funny at all.

The video is edited to make it seem like bron's mom was a prostitute. It kept showing him say "I don't know how she did it" (put food on the table, clothes, heat the house) as a single mom. Then it keeps cutting to her doing that nervous hair flip which works in the context of the video. Then cuts back to bron saying "but" and his smile morphs into horror when he realizes how what he's implying.

If you watch it like that, it's pretty funny.
