Can injuries really qualify someone as a bust?

GO was great for the 15 minutes he could stay healthy

Any player that gets drafted so high and doesn't turn out to have a successful NBA career due to either lack of talent, motivation or good health is a bust.

Eh injuries are a little different than lack of talent or motivation. Oden was becoming a monster and would prob be the best center in the game right now if he was healthy.

There are only two Bargnani trades I would make. One is this:

nykballa2k4 wrote:Amare and Novak for Gay and Bargnani

And the other one is:

Amare and Novak for Bargnani, Amir Johnson, Linas Kleiza and Terence Ross

They can keep that 7ft SG.

No team would have drafted him had they've known he would be injury prone.

Christ no

Why, we need spacing for Melo and a healthy 2nd scorer.

Rudy Gay is a zero impact player who adds next nothing in the way of winning basketball games despite the 18 points a game he'll score. I would hope keeping Bargnani far far away from this team would be obvious.

If every coach in the NBA coached like D'antoni or Woodson this would be the perfect trade for anyone seeking to have an impact player on their roster, as those are the only two NBA coaches that I know of who allow players like Bargnani to have their way with the open three.

Bargnani & Valincunas for Tyson and you got yourself a deal

If we trade tyson we MUST receive a big back in return

I'd lose alot of faith in Grunwald if Bargnani became a Knick.

Novak's a better shooter for far cheaper. What else does Bargnani bring to the table then?

Trading a rebounder for a non-rebounder. Wake up Grunny!

He only does that 40% of the time.

The other times he's dodging rebounds and wont play a lick of defense.

I'd rather stay with amare than to have that piece of scrubtastic on the team.

amares knees have failed him, while bargs has had injury bug, his injuries are not career threatening like amare

bargs is taller, can get his shot off better, and is not a stationary shooter like novak
