Oh and contrary to popular belief, I personally didn't mind the trade that happened earlier just based off of my history in this thing alone. I was looking more narrowly than i probably should have, but when you get stuck with a pick in the twenties like I have in every BAT, then you start to experiment more. i was just looking at how can I add top level depth on my team instead of the later rounds. I pretty much would have not had picks later, but that's the price I would have paid to rewrite my history. It wasn't about me doing some dumb sh*t, it was more the accumulation of picks and seeing there was no mountain of a difference between picks 26 & 36.

Oh and big trades do happen in the NFL probably ever year, except with them they trade next years picks. Washington this year, Atlanta last year and who can forget about the Hershel Walker trade.

I had no problem with Smoke and Jose's trade from the get go. We're on our SEVENTH build a team. At this point, most owners know what they're doing. Having to re-submit the deal reeks of the Hornets/Lakers/Rockets trade debacle with David Stern.

you dont see the 20th pick traded for a 2nd and third b4 the draft even starts. That was my point.

This is build a team though. We know how most of the guys should rank. Sometimes if you wait until the draft starts, the same trade won't be available and you'll regret not making it. That goes for both sides.

Yeah, the fact that these are established players really changes the aspect of trades when compared to real world drafts of unproven college players.
