[ESPN] Knicks Have Deal In Place for 1st Rounder (Merging)

Source tells me the NY Knicks have a deal available to acquire a No. 1 draft pick in 2011 for use in a C.Anthony trade, if talks revived.

Walsh told Gallo AND AR that neither will be traded...haven't heard a thing about Chandler.

NO TRADE will happen until mid week. The Knicks aren't going to deal Gallo while in Italy, that would just be a complete slap in the face.

I'm not sure the Hornets would be interested in a 1st round pick next year, they will be in win-now mode. Also sucks that we traded our lottery pick this year.

Agreed, i really hope we arn't trading Randolph either. Id rather let Gallo and Randolph both get big minutes and Develop during the season, and sign Melo in the offseason. But then again, so would every other knick fan if it was a gurenteed thing to happen.

agreed Knicksfan, and that's what I've been preaching too, but this LeBron fiasco makes me think..."just get the superstar". Look at Miami, everyone has them penciled in to win 70 games and 5 titles in a row with 3 players and one solid player in Mike Miller. If we get Melo and Amare, we got 2 players there and still should have a real solid bench...I think we can compete with these two. If we can keep one of Randolph/Gallo, well then wow..

How is this happening while the whole team is in Italy I heard some people say gallo will be traded soon they dont want to trade him because of this trip to his homeland. Personaly i dont buy it but it does make sense.
