I just want to say to Bigmo, after a tense start, I respect and appreciate you articulating yourself clearly and civilly.
We wont ever agree on the nature of Islam, or most other facets of your faith, but I have no problem with moderates like yourself who believe what you believe and just want to live peacefully and be left alone. If all Muslims were like that, I'd have nothing to say about Islam.
And to those other posters, I apologize for nothing and meant what I said.

Oh God let's hope so... we should have an OT thread too, anything to keep the belligerents in pens.

Why choose to get wrecked over the holidays? Don't you want to look nice for your family photos? You're a turd. I smell your pussy ass a mile away.

I own a business son. Thats what gives me freetime to educate those like you and debate with pussies like Combo Guard city.
So write it down, take a picture, bookmark it I dont care. I own boxing gloves, and Im looking forward to seeing how tough you think you are.
Id challenge you next week if I was in NY but I live 1000 miles away, so I come during the holidays to see family and friends. So if I can fit you into my schedule you can fit me into yours.

Re: Official Politics thread pt. 2
I respect Smack as a Knick fan, but I dont agree with his politics or his views on Islam. He is a Muslim so that definitely gives him a certain point of view that I dont share. And are the verses I posted below non violent???
What are these views then? I mean this thread is about politics but if we're going to continue on the Islamic debate then dont tell me these verses dont exist. Im not making them up, there from Islamic texts. And the point Im making is this, yes the bible has violence and other things that most of us disagree with. The OT especially. The NT and Christianity preaches love, tolerance, and non violence. Even when Jesus was persecuted he did not resist or respond violently.
I see people criticize the bible all the time, all the time around here. Yet the quran to these ssame people is sacrosanct??
That's ridiculous, and Im not going to say nothing while liars promote discord and manipulate the truth.
What is the truth as I see it?
Islam is 1400 years old. Its founder married a child- who was anywhere between 9-12 yrs old when he took her as his bride. The religion was spread through violence and warfare, and many of its nations repress basic freedoms and dissent til this day.
None of that is debatable.
Now if anyone wants to tell me how to get rid of extremists within that religion Im all ears.
And here's some more love from the religion of peace.
2:191-”Kill them (unbelievers) wherever you find them. Drive them out of the places from which they drove you, for persecution is worse than slaughter…. Such is the reward of those who reject faith.”
3:19-”The only true faith in God’s sight is Islam. Those to whom the book was given disagreed among themselves only after knowledge had been given to them, being insolent among themselves. He who disbelieves the verses of Allah indeed Allah is swift in reckoning.”
8:12, 14-”I shall cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. Strike them above the necks, smite their finger tips…. the punishment of the fire is for the unbelievers.”
47:4-”Therefore, when you meet the unbelievers smite their necks, then, when you have killed many of them, tie the bonds…. As for those who are killed in the Way of Allah, he will not let their works to go astray.”

I just dont have a problem stooping down to the level of these primadonnas. Especially some chump that before today I didnt know existed who wants to call my manhood into question and not expect to see me with gloves. He wont show, I know that for a fact, and he's trying to front like he's brolic by copy and pasting emails.
Your fugazi Tneck, we all know it. And my advice is if your man enough to show up in that ring, train like Rocky did for Drago because thats the only shot you have of beating me. Real talk.

Ruh Roh....the rats are nervous. Tax and spend tax and spend tax and spend, muahahahaha.
Reid: We Must Raise Taxes! (Barry dumps Dems on taxes?)
National Review ^ | 07/21/11 | Andrew Stiles
Senate Democrats just wrapped up a meeting with OMB Director Jack Lew in the Capitol and they are not pleased. All indications are that the reports Dan cites are more or less accurate. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) told reporters that a call came in from the White House during the meeting to announce a “potential agreement” with House Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio).
Reid appeared to confirm reports that the proposed deal would not raise significant revenue, at least in the near term, and indicated that he didn’t think this would be acceptable to Democrats in congress. “The president always talked about balance, there had to be some fairness in this,” he said, grimly. “This can’t be all cuts. There has to be balance, there has to revenue and cuts.”
So, provided the reports are generally true, is Obama really willing to sell all Congressional Democrats down the river (apart from the moderates facing reelection in 2012) just to win another term? I think the answer is self-evident.
