They have a special bond....Greenie has that effect on some.

These joints here is one of the few songs me and my wife have been digging.....

This is probably two of her favorite artists since both are from her hometown.

Fun fact on Jhene....she was featured on tracks from the group B2k, even toured with them...she's been around a while...

here's another track we like....

Just wondering, what you guys think of Sevyn Streeter?

On Jhene- I know been listening to her for years
August is my boo.
On Sevyn- I've been listening to her since her Rich Girl days. I remember when they opened up for Beyonce at MSG

Bey...who?

GET 'EM KEYSH!!

I don't get why people make these silly comparisons, Keyshia is closer to Mary J. then Bey and Mary J. is untouchable! I can't do Keyshia Coles struggle voice anymore, I listen to K. Michelle for my weekly doses of ratchet RnB.

nice finds Thugger. I've been listening to various R&B jams over the years to get a vibe.

I do think Jhene is vastly underrated. She's got a new sound and she's collaborated with a great mind in No ID.

I remember listening to August Alsina when he was doing all the covers to various songs (especially the Bandz a Make Her Dance cover). He's affiliated with The-Dream, one of the best and most credible songwriters in the game (just ask the Carters)

I've heard some Sevyn, but I think she's probably better suited going full out songwriter status and getting cheddar that way than going in the female R&B scene, which is pretty saturated in my opinion.

What silly comparisons are these people making? I know you and greenie love y'all some Beyonce, I came across the Keyshia Cole track last night, liked it -- decided to try and get y'all riled up by suggesting Keyshia Cole > Beyonce using the random GIF as y'all do with the Beyonce ones.

That it. It don't go no deeper than that.

You said "Bey...who?" It wasn't a direct comparison but it suggest that their music and sound is the the same space to be critiqued or compared. It's like me posting a Ray J song and saying "Jaheim... who?" it's silly. You got me riled up now lets fight :box:

Nah, it's actually the other way around. In some ways you are similar to my wife, and I know how to make her melt....instantly, you'd be no different.

You'd be out here in Hempstead rocking slippers in the kitchen, carrying another new one, just like she is.
