Not a game thread, but I am willing to make a sig bet with anyone. Or willing to take a week off of the forum if I lose. I really believe the knicks will win tonight. Fields will have a big game and Amare will show up. Rockets have Scola who is not as quick as most other power forwards. Despite that he is a skilled pf, I see Amare getting him into foul trouble and the knicks feasting on Jordan Hill.

Rockets will try to penetrate, but Chandler, staying home on Dalembert will help out plenty.

Douglas will have a good shooting night, Shumpert won't take over 15 shots and bibby will be effective off of the bench.

Again Fields will emerge as a key player in the win, getting about 12 points, 6 boards 4 assits and 3 blocks/steals combined. Walker will shoot too much, but will be reined in.

I kinda see the Knicks taking this one as well, if the play with the same energy and pace they played with last night...which is a bif IF

Not sure why this is a bold prediction seeing as how Detroit is one of the few teams in the NBA that are worse than us...

I should hope we can beat these bums..

So if I lose, I have to make a new name -- provided by emo with the approval of a mod, post on the Nets board for a month, and carry a sig provided by ronito? all changes stick for 1 month?

If we win, Emo has to change his, knickelz is banished to the nets board, and I get to pick a sig for ronito? (again all changes lasting for a month)
