We didn't "lose" this game the NBA and Refs GAVE it to INDY!
I couldn't care less what anyone has to say. You can't fix golf.
During game five we were called for 30 fouls with only 17 free throw attempts when compared to Indiana only being called for 18 fouls while getting 33 free throw attempts.
Then tonight during game six? Say hello to 34 fouls called against us with only 18 free throw attempts. Indiana on the other hand? Called for only 16 fouls while getting a mind boggling 46 free throw attempts.
29 more free throw attempts tonight during a 7 point victory? 45 more free throw attempts over the previous two games?
Could it be any more obvious more like blatant officiating? Sure, harp all over our Knick players but ignore what has just taken place by the hands of the NBA refs. It's really disheartening. I'd hate to become a casual fan but I'm not sure I can put this much energy, passion and emotion into an NBA regular season if all the playoffs come down to this... Free throws. It's just sad what our sport has turned into over the years.
In closing, just would like to thank each and every poster for giving me the opportunity to talk Knicks with you all this season. Regardless if we agreed with one another, disagreed or flat out went at each others throats... Appreciated the opportunity to talk ball. Congrats to the NBA along with their officials; just eliminated our Knicks.

We lost the game. They drove the paint, and they got calls. We shot from the outside.
We made horrible childish plays and missed shots at the end.
There were maybe 3 questionable calls to me but we lost this game. Not the ref

You can't blame the refs. We must blame ourselves.

The refs were garbage but the Knicks could have still won. We played this team 5 times in the last 2 weeks and it seemed like tonight we played them for the first time. The only adjustment we saw was in game 5, meanwhile Indiana played THEIR game for the whole series. Woody lost us this series.

We turned the ball over many times in the 4th quarter with the game still close. The refs blow donkey balls, but we did not play well when the game was on the line. We could have won that even with the refs sucking. We gave Indy the game.

The Knicks had been getting beat up by Hibbert and co in the paint without foul calls all series. Shooting more jumpers is a better play then getting hit in the head and not getting a foul.
The series was just an embarrassment for the officials. They need better training, fines when they f' up, and a fourth one on the court.

You really needed to make a new thread for this?
Blaming the refs is weak, especially when the Knicks had all the opportunity to come out of Indy with a win.

Even if the refs didnt screw us, Indy exposed us for all our flaws. We have no size, have no two way players aside from Shump, we cant rebound, and we cant score inside. Until all these issues are addressed, we'll be out in Round 2 again next year.

The Knicks lost this game.
They need to blow this mess up. And get rid of Woodson. Anything other than getting to the ECF is a failure of the season.

Yea, right, 34 fouls called against us with only 18 free throw attempts while Indiana got called for only 16 fouls while getting a mind boggling 46 free throw attempts. A differential of 28.
Yup. "Every opportunity to win".
