If I had my choice between Smoove and Horford. I take
Horford. However I believe he is the face of the rebuilding
Hawks. I think they would like to slide him to the 4 and
Chandler would be perfect next to him.
I don't think anyone will give Smoove max under the new
CBA.
I think he'll take near max to play for Woodson again
Also, like Melo and JR,he feels that he doesn't get the
Attention he deserves b/c of the market in which he plays
And NY would solve that problem.
Most importantly, he's a legit 2nd.
On defense he will protect the rim and play the 4.
On offense he'll stay out of Melo's way and spread the floor.
With an ordinary center Smoove solves our 2nd
Option problem and our rebounding problem
But it's still a roll of the dice.

I'm thinking about changing my sig to say "The Knicks cannot do sign and trades per CBA".
