so... now that Kmart is signed i would like to think Bargnani officially gets the Start?

I mean it makes no sense to keep Melo at the 4, Bargnani, Amare, & Kmart all need play time

Bargnani
Tyson

Prigioni
Smith
Artest
Amare
Kmart

Seems much better and balances everyones minutes out.

It's too bad you can't move Amare because of that uninsured contract. A major upgrade in the backcourt for an impact player is all this team needs.

With that said for A THIRD STRING CENTER, Thabeet would make a lotta sense.
I agree that Udrih would make sense but he is one to complain if he doesn't get consistent minutes.
So with that said, I'd pass. I like Mo Williams for this squad but just like Udrih, he's gonna gripe without a major role.
I say sign either Brown (who'd be happy just to be on an NBA roster), Murry (who could have a late-in-his-career Lyndsey Hunter type role of picking up his man full court) or even Scott Machado (remember, THIRD STRING and ok with it).

I really think we have to stop focusing on positions. Woody has, and that is what makes him a good coach for us.
There will be a backbone player on the court at all times. Tyson, K-mart, MWP, and Shump.
There will be a super scorer on the floor at all times. Melo, Bargs, STAT,JR
and a floor general at all times, or maybe just most of the times. Felton, and Prigs

K-mart can gaurd centers or PF even SF's at times(or stretch 4's)
MWP can guard PF, SF, and big guards
Shump can guard all guards and SF's.

since all these guys can shoot pretty decently within their respective ranges, it's fair to say that if they can gaurd the position they can play the position.
On top of all this, we have C.J. , one the hardaway,Tyler , and even Toure to look forward to. maybe 2 of them can develope to replace some of the older pieces.

At this point, and at age 31, not sure if he is better than aldrich or petro.
