Oh come on. You mean if we somehow qualified to make the post season, you'd think we'd be a title contender?

This team was off from the first game when they were struggling against the Bucks. Besides, do you remember who our starting PG and our head coach are? That alone should tone down the expectations quickly.

The only reason why I and many wanted this team to make the playoffs was to eliminate any possibility of giving up a lottery pick.

I don't think it really matters, we all end up discussing the game anyways, the first post isn't going to make a difference.

Id rather not have to dig through pages of f*ck the nets and stupid gifs to try and get a sense of what happened in the game if I happen to miss it.

Yes I understand that but the first post could at least be organized and a jumping off point for discussion. And easily locatable since its the first post.

I don't know why the talking heads are going on about the Nets as some sort of contender, yeah they beat Miami but they've been straight trash since then and may get passed by even the Wizards tonight. I don't see the Nets advancing past the first round regardless of opponent. Push comes to shove, they are a barely above .500 team that plays a slow pace and is relying on old legs. Raptors I think will run them out of the playoffs in 6.

Nets are 7 games OVER .500 and the Knicks 9 games UNDER...you should stop talking now

I hear what you're saying, but what happens is by the time the person responsible for the post game thread has finished a write up of the game, someone else will have all ready started a separate post game thread that will be three or four pages deep within minutes.

I don't know, the mods tried handling it last year by starting two different post game threads(one for gifs/celebration, the other for analysis), but it just didn't work.
