Dear Knicks fans,
It’s been a couple of days since my fan-chat with Aaron Bierman’s Dad, and it got me thinking: While I have some free time — you know, waiting for Carmelo to play in the All-Star Game — I should probably address all of my/our fans. I have gotten so many emails over the last decade or so, but lost among the many requests for fresh new J.D. & the Straight Shot cuts, there have been a handful of really upset Knicks fans.
Just really angry people, who probably bring ugliness into their families’ lives, but fans nonetheless.
So, as a man who has been through all of the steps of recovery, I feel like I might be able to offer some help. (Not to help the mindless fans, of course. Not the ones that sneak into the games, robbing REAL, hard-working fans of their tickets. Not the ones who just come to boo and and say mean untruities.) This email is for you. To help.
