But day 2 you turn on Sportcenters and maybe there's a parade story. But by day 3 the media has stopped talking about how great your team was and they starting focusing on other sports and next season.
Before 72 hours have past, you're thinking about next year too.
The other people or media might not care about it too much, but for me if the Knicks ever won the title, I would watch literally every game of the playoffs again if I can get a copy, buy every title merch I can, go on realgm (if it still exists) and talk about it for the whole summer, go on youtube to watch highlight mixes of moments of the playoffs, probably buy more jerseys of players on the title team. Yes I do have a life outside of basketball, but I wanted this damn team to win a title for over 2 decades being a fan of this team, and still the only team that I have been a fan of that still hasn't won one in my lifetime. So yea, it will probably take me a good year and a half for me to get off a knick championship high.
