This Looks so much better than those soulless CGI filled monstrosities that Lucas directed. JJ has managed to create something that looks and feels more organic.

Pretty cool. Although I enjoy watching star war fanboys reacting to the trailer more. It's like they are having some kind of orgy by the way they react.

watch the original 3, i think they just got released in HD... not sure if they edited out crap lucas tacked on 30 years later or not but if you can find the unedited version go with that

‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ Official Plot Details & Teaser Trailer

“A band of resistance fighters unite for a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans in the Star Wars Anthology film, Rogue One.”

According to Edwards, Rogue One is set between Episode III and Episode IV, but more on the Episode IV side and doesn’t revolve around Jedi. “It comes down to a group of individuals who don’t have magical powers that have to somehow bring hope to the galaxy,” Edwards said. He revealed that Felicity Jones will be playing a rebel soldier.

Many of the crew members working on Rogue One worked on Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down, and that’s not by accident. “It’s called Star WARS,” Edwards said. Zero Dark Thirty cinematographer Greig Fraser will shoot the film.

sounds like the dark knight tretment to star wars dark and gritty :lol:

I think they can go either two ways here... Go the dark and gritty space mission route OR make this the Firefly type mission with some humor

that would be amazing too, its funny how we know more about the story for rogue one then episode 7.... but i guess they have to sell people on the idea of a spinoff

Ben Mendelsohn Is also starring in Rogue one. If any of you have watched Bloodline on Netflix, you know he's going to be a fantastic addition to the Star Wars universe.
