They're going to trade him. And we'll probably see allot of him. Because Boston is the team with the most to offer.

Nah it'd be a trade for talent and numbers but not winning. Boogie and Melo wouldn't win anything of significance.

KP is worth waiting out. We finally have a platinum asset and he could be a cornerstone.

I think Cousin's contract expires the same year that Jose expires, just wait to sign him then.

Trading away Porinzgis for Demarcus Cancer would be like trading a young up and coming Kevin Garnett for a 26 year old Isaac Austin. I don't know why Knick fans are still jocking this dude like if he's going to make the Knicks an instant contender when every season that goes by he proves to be nothing but a stat padder on a a non contending team.

Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

Can't stomach knicks trading kristap. Make him a franchise player, the face of the team just like the old players do. If there's one Thing want to trade that is Melo's 1 or 2 quarter shooting mojo.

In a simple way, why would Sacremento trade an all star talent for an unproven rookie?
It is because Cousins is a problem, pure and simple.
No way do you do that trade, he will destroy this team from the inside out.

Cousins is an extremely talented basketball player that is under contract for 2 more years after this year... It's a shame... but I would not, I think he may be going down the derek coleman road... Its a shame really... because he is a unique talent.

For those asking why Sacramento would pull such a deal off; who would you trade Cousins for if you had to move him?

I would trade for Cousins for Kp6 + Gallo + Calderone + future 1. Sellout for the Me7o window right now. Flip Lopez for a good veteran guard. Maybe Lopez and Rondo can be included in the deal.

Or try to trade Me7o for Cousins and a contract. (Doubt Melo agrees) Sac franchise gets more professional and can make some sort of playoff run the next few seasons. Knicks have a great young front line tandem whod complement each other well to build on.

I think Lakers were offering some sort of #2 and Randle for Cousins and the Kings refused. Cousins is still a top 5-10 player. It will probably take more assets than KP6 to get the deal done. I think people are underrating Cousins here right now. He's probably the best center in the league.

Also it kind of feels like the Knicks are in no mans land with Me7o and KP6 as the central pieces. By the time Porzingis develops, Melo will be on the downside.

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

THIS WOULD BE INSANITY AND A TYPICAL KNICKS MOVE. I trust PHIL isnt this stupid. DMC is tremendously talented but he is a head case. He is trapped in SAC why bail him out and them out w/ KP.

DMC and MELO r not a good fit and we have no PG to really make that flow properly. We need to just stop and let our young guys develop.

If Phil was our coach, hell yeah. Dude can turn any headcase into a dominant player and a winner.

But we have Fisher(wamp wamp waaaaamp)and im not going to trust him to fix Boogie's craziness.

People getting emotional attachment to a guy that they'll never meet or know... There's a very good chance KP never even comes close to Cousins in terms of impact. He's a beast on both ends and we already know what dominant big men can do in the triangle. You do this trade 10 times out of 10. He may have some attitude issues with refs but, those can always be ironed out when you have the talent Demarcus and have proved to be a top 3 big man in the league.

This is most likely the case unfortunately or the Sixers but, that would make less basketball sense.

That's exactly who Cousins is; a bigger, potentially more talented Derrick Coleman. Even at his prime, I don't think KP can put up the numbers Cousins does - just doesn't have the athleticism and quickness for it. However, Cousins and Melo isn't enough to put us over the top, while KP will have a cap friendly contract for years. I may yet regret staying this but I just don't see Cousins winning anything in his career, while KP has that personality that shouts winner.

Cousins has all-star talent. I do think Kri6 will get there as well, but will take some time.

Plus we have Lopez so thats that.

The Kings have been garbage with Cousins. I'm sorry but the dude is a head case. Yes he has skills but I don't think he meshes at all with Melo.
