Airinė is Lithuanian though. She's with the Olympic team in Rio competing in high jump. She won the silver at the European track & field championship earlier this year.

I'd like to cross her with a Lithuanian bballer to build for the 2040 team.

He's only working out to hide his disappointment that JR didn't invite him to the cool clubs this off season.

I thought the same thing.

I was still in the mindset (even though I have all his highlights and have watched each video) that "well, he needs a few more moves"

Actually, they are all there, already. This is an all-star collection of moves for a big man. Coming off curls, turnaround jump hooks, dream shake, bank shots, 3 pointers. It's pretty unreal. Some nice drives, lefty and righty hook shots. Running hooks. It's amazingly complete for a rookie.

Even in the highlights you see some issues with driving where he gets caught sort of off balance or almost in between a move or a move and a shot. I'd guess cleaning up this, and establishing stronger post position and then greater consistency on his scoring - if he hits on all 3 of those, that is superstar status.

^Yes - not more moves. Rather, perfecting a few of his existing bread and butter back to the basket moves so he can pull them off with regularity. That would make the rest of his game much harder to guard. Additionally, work on his body and handle.

So how did we lose so many games? Watching the highlights makes him seem more than any mere mortal.

KP with a much stronger dribble would send shivers down the spine. You can see he already has buds of the pull-up shot-taking game so he was smart to focus on his handle ... now, advertising it all off-season, as he has, I'm not a big fan of, but I guess the opponents were going to find out pretty quickly anyway. Element of surprise is preferable but in today's social media, it's a thing of the past.

And don't forget that today he tweeted a photo of him working on his handles. If he gets better...

When KP perfects his axe throwing skills he's going to butcher the whole NBA

Am I allowed to say butcher?

Too soon?

And this kid is only 21 years old! Insane.

You gotta respect the fact, the Knicks are teaching a young man the value of winning.
