Personally I'm more impressed by someone like Nas who keeps it simple but is lyrically amazing than the MF DOOMs, Eminems, and Sweatshirts of the world. Then there's guys like (old) Lupe, Mos, and Kendrick who can do both if needed.

Adding a laughing emoticon does nothing to legitimize your viewpoint.

Maybe you just didn't get that particular song. It's ok if it went over your head. Everything's not for everybody. But even if you didn't get that one song, it doesn't kill Em's legitimacy as one of the all time greats. Same with Busta. You like and need simplicity. That's cool. I personally enjoyed Em's tribute to JJ Fad on so many levels.

It's like with my personal dislike of Lupe after his disrespect of A Tribe Called Quest. There's nothing that emo ignornant cornball who thinks the Earth is flat can ever do for me on a mic after a diss like that.

Hip Hop is subjective. Always will be. I think dudes like Em, Busta, etc...are simply dope. You can disagree and your opinion is legit to those with your mindset. It's all good.

Get off my sack. I don't like the song period. Its corny to me. There's nothing deep about it besides the amount of bull said in it. **** off.

Also Lupe doesn't think the earth is flat you halfwit.

 B.o.B....same wack difference...

hip hop, or rap?

rap is so much deeper, lyrically. i'm not a hip hop fan. only country makes me feel stupider after listening to it.

rap, on the other hand, so much better. my favorites are tech nine and bizzy bone
