He's definitely got poor lift in that clip though.

Guys with a ton of elevation on their jumpers don't usually shoot consistently. As they tire, they don't elevate the same and the shot varies. If you take open shots, you don't need to. Bill Laimbeer made a career out of his "tippy toe" jumper.

Interesting point. Larry Bird fits that supposition perfectly.

Lance gallops like a clydesdale, but I remember him going for some baseline dunks from the corner and he shocked his defenders with the ground he covered. He should try to get a Budweiser sponsorship deal, strap on a harness and pull a giant green keg into Rockefeller Center at Christmas Time.

I more remember his closeouts; large strides hands up covering alot of ground then choppy feet and swinging the hell out his hip to open up which showed eexxcellent flexibility.

His lateral mobility wasn't great but he made up for it with effort and that good bend. I'd bet you he does Yoga.

Probably does. Anyway, Lance earns what he gets so I hope everyone has some respect for him. He has earned it in my book.

Good solid role player which we'll need. Def could of gotten more in this market.

I wish we could of kept Gallo as well. Think he could of done well without the weight of having to try to erase the terrible PG play every night singlehandedly.

I shot a set shot my whole HS and college careers. I would only get an inch or two off the ground, if ever. My form completely stabilized.

As a teen I used to jump and release, but could not control my mechanics. I adopted my coach's "old man" technique and became cash money from 15 feet. Teammates made fun at first, but we ate from mid range and pinch post.
RIP magnumt

welcome home, thibs.

Lolll so true, bro. I read your comment before I watched the video, so the video had me dying with that in my head. So awkward but effective. Let's see if he can do it a second year in a row against NBA defenders. He was burning those guys
