Embiid and KAT are the 2 best young bigs in the game. Embiid is a damn beast, I hope he can avoid anymore serious injuries.

These guys on a whole other level from KP.

I mean, that's what everyone wants to say, might as well say it.

Maybe. Too much for me, the NBA is a what you see is what you get league. Players can get better and develop, but I still stand by the fact that it's not really as much or that often. I mean, KP is 21, sure he'll develop, but I bet there will be a lot of "Why can't he be more aggressive and physical like Embiid and Towns" and "If only he bulked up some and played more down low he could be like Embiid and Towns", 2,3,4,5 years from now.

Jokic is also coming on strong this season...he could very well end up 3rd behind KAT and Embiid

it's not even a talent thing to me. it's an energy/consistency thing. kp just floats a lot. seems to just be going through the motions sometimes.

james harden is amazing. and to think, we might have had d'arden in the garden some years ago if the chips fell more favorably, and we lost 9 MORE GAMES

What was the mood of the board back then? Was tanking for Harden a thing on here?

that was the blake draft. i know i liked him. i think almost everyone wanted rubio or curry, and there was a lot of flirting between the curry camp and the knicks. everyone though that was a match made in heaven, but we all know what happened.

Porzingis has Melo to shoulder all the blame. Embiid and Towns have nobody.

wouldn't that make it easier for him to play hard ? or is that your point ? that he needs to feel that pressure to perform. he has it too easy.

Shouldn't that help him?

Or is your point that it's keeping him from growing? Either way, I see it as a mental construct by fans and media. Either you have it or you don't, as a player.

This was in his scouting report and one of the reasons he was considered a project
