Edit: not really impressed with either Erin or Manon of the Spring, who looks like she has a large bump on her right shin to start the fight. Blanchfield is tough and scrappy. It she looks a little like Elaine Benis from Seinfeld.

This week's fight night is super light. But Brendan Allen vs Chris Curtis has a shot to be a banger. Allen has been on a tear since losing to Curtis! But Strickland and Curtis have both beaten Allen pretty badly, so I'm surprised at the odds favoring Allen so heavily.

Also, I've never seen a fighter weigh-in this comfortably before:

The rest of the card is super mid. Co-Main event had Alex Hernandez miss weight (he's the favorite btw). Court McGee vs Alex Morono has a shot to be entertaining on the prelims and Norma Dumont vs Germaine De Randamie could be cool. We know GDR is a bully, but Norma Dumont once made an opponent run away...

Oof, I've seen him look hyped up on uppers, but that's a different kinda energy in that clip. It's doubly concerning because we also got news yesterday that drug testers came to test Jon Jones, and he was hammered and making death threats allegedly. He posted video high-fiving one of the testers later on, so maybe it's exaggerated but he didn't argue with the fact he was drunk. He just said he was partying for a family member's birthday in the privacy of his home...but I don't think either of them are ever fighting again.

We're finally on a good fight week. It's a BIG ONE. UFC 300 is stacked top to bottom, and EVERY fighter will be at the press conference later today. Look at this list of greatness (my picks are bolded)!

That's 12 current or former champions. Even I don't have the patience to do write-ups on all the great fights here, but I'm hoping to actually record some fight discussion and predictions to put up on Youtube for this one. So, I'll get the link here when it's up.

For now my main thoughts are:
- The BMF fight is most likely FotN
- My biggest upset pick is Holly Holm over Kayla Harrison (weight drain concerns and footwork comparison in a big cage being my case)
- The most intriguing matchup is Oliveira vs Tsarukyan
- And I'd argue that the Prelim will probably be better than the main card because there are two clear mismatches on the main card, along with a fighter returning from an Achilles tear way too early for me to trust that he's the same.
