Embarrassing thread, one looks like he could be the next Tony Parker, while the other may be the next Daniel Gibson.

To start the season, Maxey has
- a 6.5:1 assist to turnover ratio
- 51% on 20.4 FGA / 43% on 8.0 3PA / 93% on 4.8 FTA

Which is insane considering his insane stat line

Yes, I was wondering when you'd show. I'm actually surprised you didn't show up and gloat when IQ had a bad playoff series. Or maybe you did? Totally forgot. But yea, you were right. Kudos on you. Have a +1 cookie.

Still a huge unabashed IQ fan, though, and unashamed of it. Give my boy his fat contract!

No, I didn’t. Relax.

The issue is Maxey has free reign and starts.

IQ hasnt had that chance

Both good players Maxeys leap has been impressive

Statistically they are basically the same player but, Maxey has a different role on his team. I'm happy with our version.

Maxey may be a tad more efficient for IQ a better defender. Im good with that, especially at the price

It's really not a matter of role, the big separator between them is that Maxey can get to the rim through self creation in the halfcourt or transition and is a much better finisher when he gets there. He's a 3 level scorer, while IQ is a two level scorer, whens the last time you saw IQ get to the rim for a layup in the halfcourt? The issue though is that in the playoffs refs call the game tighter and a large part of IQs game is foul baiting, it's a big reason why he has struggled offensively in the playoffs. That's why Embiid and Harden have been less effective in the playoffs as well.

I think Quickley still has potential as a starter, but as of now, it's Maxey AINEC.

They’re both good guards and there’s nothing I really wanted to point out here. Maxey has been incredible and bumping this was just a joke. We really need to control him now and it just goes to show how much he’s grown: we’re very good defensively, but he can’t be stopped.

I wonder if he’s been reading this thread …
