But yeah this was well done. What happened to Denji is horrifying and yet Katana Man being a complete ass hole makes you not even take it seriously. I'm glad he just wasn't a one and done character

Asa Mitaka is a cool name so they have to say it in full

Spoiler:
Considering how this arc has gone, they could keep the light feeling by having Quanxi come up with a silly reason to help the CSM gang. This whole arc is a fever dream so far, so I'm not putting anything past Fujimoto. Maybe Nail reminds Quanxi of Cosmo with the brain hanging out...Idk, something goofy but kinda makes sense in a way that adds to the insanity of the arc.

Tower of God S1 was the prologue, and they tried to squeeze a lot in. But the real story starts S2, and it's a great time for the GOAT Kevin Penkin to work on the score because there are some epic moments.

Invincible S2 Episode 4

Spoiler:
Damn...Mark really pissed me off this episode. Sole reason his dad got captured, cause he wasn't fighting for real. Funny how I got back on his dad's side so quickly.

Also, I love how Invincible copies Marvel/DC but improves on many of their storylines or keeps them fresh. Like Donald becoming the new Agent Coulson. Speaking of which, Agents of Shield was way underrated.

One of the assistants on Chainsaw Man is dropping a new series in Jump today called Centuria, supposedly it's an action fantasy series.

The reason why this is something to look out for is because Fujimoto's former assistants are the authors of Hell's Paradise, Spy X Family, and DanDaDan. This might be another banger on the way.

Is Wrestlemania worth watching? I don't keep up with anything really, I only follow Liv Morgan because she's from Jersey and, well, you know

Dudes were literally barking last night when she came out.

The product is much better than where it was 5 years ago. It’s still not on the Attitude Era level but nothing will top that. But its watchable and with the Rock returning on a full time basis likely (board of director) has brought some juice back. I put this Era on par with New Generation Era (92-97)

Spoiler:
The way Invincible can take hateable characters and completely flip your opinion of them on the fly is really something to be seen. Omniman is the best example, but even characters like Immortal and Rex find ways to become somewhat sympathetic at times.

Invincible is really the gold standard, IMO. If I have one complaint, it's that Mark and Amber are my least favorite characters. They still aren't the worst or anything, but everyone else is so much more interesting. I guess that'd be true for any normal life stuff in the middle of everything else.

New Gen era was dope, i was watching back then and all the way into the Attitude era. I bailed after The Invasion storyline and haven't been back since, but Owen Hart's death had a really negative impact on me as a fan and I started falling out of love with pro wrestling gradually. I loved Owen.

It's still mind blowing that this is Wrestlemania 40. I remember watching WM4!

Chainsaw Man Chapter 162

Spoiler:
"We didn't hear a thing."

The surgeon is my guy

And lol. Quanxi did not disappoint. The way she basically stabbed Nail Fiend's guts out was great

I feel like you can see a lot of DBZ influence in Invincible S2, especially when the superpowers fight

I could definitely see that vibe from the Viltrumite fights. It felt like one of the scenes was paying homage to this moment:
Image

My only complaint about Invincible S2 is that the stopping points felt really random. There's no sense of closure to anything at the midseason-finale and I thought the season finale felt the same way. That's not necessarily a bad thing, since I bet a the comic has a gang of new readers. But I was a little frustrated when I realized certain characters were left in the situations they found themselves in.
