With lots of things to clean up. So far, so good.

Just need to get our Ace back

I just enjoy the ride. Winning when we aren't playing at our best is a positive sign...OR.... it's only April and teams are still figuring it out. 146 more games to go!

This is an exciting time of year for me. Knicks in the playoffs! Islanders should get there! Weather getting warmer! Staying lighter later!! Fire pit is in use already! Yankees are winning games and have the best record in the league! I love it.

I'm just enjoying it too. I'm trying to recover from a bad fall that injured my lung and ribs the other day so having the Yankees and Knicks to watch and playing at a high level has been a godsend.

I also love to bitch about Cashman and Hal even when we win because it's fun

Can't wait to crack open a corona this evening for first pitch :) don't tell my doctor lol

I violently evacuated my body of all fluids and nutrients and haven't been able to put much back in until today. Cost me a days work which would have put $1000 in my pocket!! I feel like having a beer right now! It's fuggin beautiful out!! Thanks for the idea!!

It looks like John Sterling is about to retire.

Edit: Michael Kay implied that John is not doing well. This is awful news.

Waiting until the Liberty pick...which is now because they're on the clock.

We got us a good backcourt mate for Sabrina in Marquesha. Time for the Yankees

Kinda wanted Muhl more after that first half against Caitlin Clark, but I'm still excited!

I wanted Muhl too but Davis is pretty damn good defensively and athletic, Sabrina needs that next to her in the backcourt

Horrible at bats by Judge and Rizzo. Zero discipline at the plate. Rizzo was up on the count and he started swinging at garbage

0-11 from Soto, Judge, and Rizzo (2, 3, 4 spots) tonight. Only offense from them was a walk from Soto.

7 walks from Gil is crazy. I don't know how the Yankees only lost by 2.

This was a horrible performance all around. Gil sucks and the last thing we needed was our main guys getting shut down.

It's correct to be disappointed with Gil's performance, but in the end, he only gave up 3 runs (1 of them walked in and another from a wild pitch). 3 runs? This lineup needs to show up to overcome that.

Let's hope it's only because Bassitt has become a sort of Yankees killer. Yankees need to show up tomorrow and keep a division back to below .500.

Only 1 run by the Yankees? Was the leading Cy Young candidate pitching for Toronto?

This team is just way too streaky offensively. Catch them at the right time and they click on all cylinders. Catch them at the wrong time and they sleep walk for 9 innings. As we have seen for years, that just doesn't cut it in October.

He just retired, and doing so after the start of the season means he really isn't well. John may not have been the most modern announcer, but he brought warmth and personality to radio broadcasts for many who listened to the games in the background while having to do other things (homework, housework, eating meals with family while wearing earphones!). I'm sorry he won't be around for the start of what appears to be a promising season. He'll be missed.

It is high.
It is far.
It is gone.

Another thrilla from Godzilla.
