Best shooter in Knicks history. Better than Tucker, Hubert Davis and Novak.

I mean… and Hubert. Dude was ahead of his time. People didn’t shoot the three at that clip back then.

But yeah. Donte is on a truly historic pace on a winning team.
RIP magnumt

welcome home, thibs.

Last season he was shooting 40% from 3. He was a great shooter.

Even though he doesnt play huge minutes overall he is averaging 6.6 fga from 3 this season. :o

The Knicks are clearly doing something right and feeding him the ball at the right time. I actually think what he is doing is somewhat sustainable.

Folks trashed it when we brought him up as a target months before FA

Folks trashed it when we rumored to be interested

Folks trashed it after ONE GAME into the season

Way to shut everyone the **** up, DDV

I don’t agree with that at all, but I will say DDV’s athleticism and all-around floor game/hustle make him such an asset that you don’t ever want to sub him out, especially with the insane Wildcat chemistry.

Those other guys were better pure shooters, but didn’t offer a whole lot of other reasons to keep them on the court. Novak, Tucker and Hubert were A+ shooters where Donte is an “A” or “A-” shooter but a a more valuable, complete player overall.

Note: Yet another example of the Knicks making their own draft pick (Grimes) irrelevant with a veteran FA signing/trade acquisition. But this time they got it right.

The dude has guts and a great personality. I wish he could finish a little better but I guess that's just not in the cards and who really cares.

I was skeptical of the signing but you can't argue with the results. He's going to be perfect as a 3rd-4th option on the starting five, if only we can get Randle back and playing well.

We only have 1 big (Randle) that can make a perimeter shot...

There's not a single Roster in the entire NBA that doesn't have at least 3 bigs who can shoot

God forbid anything happens to him, we are TOAST

Cool. Hope he misses 40 games, just for the angst it would cause on here.
