I think the Knicks got the guy who splits the difference between the Sacramento version and the Warriors version. Which I'd guess is the regular version of him that played on the Bucks.

Which is fine.

From hereon out, the board rule is everyone must adhere to a strict Maoist Five Year Plan and withhold any player judgments until the communal review session held at five year intervals.

Anyone declaring a player trash in a game thread will be sent to the RealGM Root Vegetable Picking Collective for re-education.

I like the way he plays and I think he’ll improve a bit with more time to get acclimated to a new team but he’s more than likely overpaid and that probably won’t change

I agree. I think he'll win us some games. We have multiple overpaid guys, but so does most of the NBA. But most of our best guys are on great deals for the franchise so it probably balances out.

Small sample size but so far he’s been a very feast or famine kind of guy very inconsistent from one game to the next. I haven’t watched most his career so maybe that’s the norm for him as a bench energy guy

That's where good substitutions matter. We have the depth to run with the hot hands. Thibs only gets it right about half the time.

Fournier overpaid, Burks overpaid or Elf overpaid?

I'd say he got the Burks.

He’s def feast or famine but any feast off the bench besides IQ is considered a win in my books.

Him and Hart are here to be gap fillers for our main guys who aren’t great at the fundamentals & can get very ISO happy. I just look for their defense, rebounding, play making & how they impact the pace we play with. The rare outbursts is found money

I like the way he plays too. He got off to a slow start in preseason and for the first couple of regular season games. He's picked it up nicely since then. His talent and effort are not in question. To me, the issue was whether we should've acquired a 3/4 to back up Randle and RJ. There's an argument that we're too redundant at the 2/3 positions. Time will tell.

Having said all that, I do like this squad and think that we could break 50 wins if the team stays relatively healthy.

I gave IHart a lot of shyt when he first got here and then he ended up turning it around. Hopefully the same for Donte.
