This is an easy vote of yes. They were paced to be a 51 win team after the Josh Hart trade. There isn't going to be any chemistry issues either, since the main roster is still in place

We added a depth piece, we lost a depth piece. We have young players that will likely improve.

I can't see any reason why we wouldn't win at least as many games as last year. Like Knicksman said, we won games at a higher rate after acquiring Hart

I'm hoping for 42 wins at least. That's with some of our players missing games due to injuries. If everyone

The team is 3 deep at every position except power forward. We don't know if Isaiah Roby is truly an NBA-caliber player.

44 sounds right.

It's due to be an alternate diva year for Randle, Mitch will miss his usual 15-20 games, Thibs will play JB and anyone else into the ground for 46 of 48 min per night,

Janus Porzingus will become IQ's agent and IQ will think he's Harden and bitch he's not making 100M yet.

Donte or Josh will be our midget backup PF and RJ will be RJ - that is he'll be YOUNG at 24 or 25 or whatever he is now. And still inefficient.

And everyone but JB (and maybe the Nova guys) will disappear when it counts most.

But we will win at least 2 legit playoff games!

So this will rank in the top 10 of all time KNICK teams!!! :D

I’d take the under just because last year everything seemed to go right and this year there are so many things that could go wrong and derail the season. Plus other teams got better and we didn’t make any major moves

If other teams got better via free agency or trade, then the teams that lost those players got worse as a result though. Teams getting better at another teams expense means the overall impact washes out, unless every player is a much better fit with their new team. Best guess, slight uptick as teams sought to acquire pieces that fit, overall impact still close to a wash

The one thing where other teams had an advantage is through the draft. But even there, most rookies don't have a big impact right away. A select few at the top and a couple of surprises here and there.

Agree that things in general did seem to go right for us this year

I mean they could start where they left off and keep building off last year’s success and everything keeps clicking and win 50+ games as well. You never know. I just feel like there’s a lot that could go wrong. We saw how quickly things fell apart the last time we entered the season with high expectations in 2021-2022. Of course this isn’t the same scenario because this time Leon didn’t sabotage the team by adding Kemba and Fournier to the starting lineup so let’s stay positive.

the record is less important to me than their seeding. will they get higher than 5th this year ? probably not. so the record won't matter much. and unless they face cleveland again they're probably going home early.

We were pretty good after we acquired Hart. Miami lost a couple of players. The Sixers appear to be falling apart. Boston lost 6MOTY in Brogdan along with Smart. Toronto lost FVV.

Fournier has signaled that though he was a good soldier last year, this year is different. He's going to start bitching if he's still here opening night. (and maybe he deserves to?).

If Brunson and Randle stay healthy we should be good for 45-50 games and the 4th or 5th seed again.

50 wins as long as Brunson plays 70 games

Hart & Donte fill in the effort stuff that our main guys simply don't do. Just having Hart made such a big difference for us.

55 wins if the RJ we saw in the playoffs is the one we get in the regular season.

I think Randle will have another great season. He always bounces back strong when the pressure is on and there were a lot of media / fans who killed him for his MIA effort level.
