Michigan dont even have elite recievers last time I checked. Also that run game is what they relied on alot. Thats not a good point against JJ.

I think the best point is that Eli was not considered elite in college but hand the intangibles.

JJ by all accounts has intangibles.

Jones had very little talent and no intangibles. They are not the same.

Playing QB under is JH is a damn blessing and one of the best QB educations you can have. Lets not forget this dude turned Collin Kapernick into a stud.

JJ has talent. There is alot there to work with

Odunze vs Nabers…who you guys like better?

I think that Odunze is the guy. We already have Hyatt as our field stretcher and Robinson as the slot dirty work receiver. Give me someone that can be physical and win those jump balls in the endzone.

We need our new Plax/Nicks WR.

Odunze and Nabers both look like studs to me. I go back and forth but might go back to Nabers.

Feels like a great opportunity to get a legit top wr so think that’s where I would lean with one of those guys

Jets signed Mike Williams and all I could think about is how his ACL injury will backfire for him and the team.

Part of me wanted to try and trade up for Marvin Harrison Jr. too. Hope there's still cap space for a safety or two. Could pick up a backup running back and linemen in the draft and maybe pickup a few in whatever's left of free agency.

With the OT's and Williams in hand, I think they've just opened the door to trading back. I've seen some hype for Brock Bowers, but in my mind; unless Alt drops to them miraculously, they should try to get some extra picks to fill out some depth.

yeah since there are a lot of questions about health and age for some of your key players depth will be key. But its nice going into the draft without "needing" to pick a certain position.

Exactly. I mention safety as something to still search for as I think the Jets only have Tony Adams on the roster.

Ok Nabors' YAC ability to create something out of nothing is a skill that probably comes in handy with us having nothing at QB right now.

I'm okay with either.

I will be pissed if we reach for a QB or trade down and pass on these high level prospects.

How you feeling about this now?

We gotta take the best player available. The solution here at #6 is an easy one especially if the Vikings leap frog us to reach for JJ

Yeah, it's Adams and question marks. They resigned Chuck Clark, but he has to be healthy to be useful. I think they're also keeping Ashtyn Davis on the radar to bring back depending on how the draft goes, but that's more of a special teams role than anything.

i think nabers is overall a better receiver but if we are putting out hyatt and wandale, odunzes size probably fits better day 1

i'd still take nabers because im not sold on the hyatt + wandale combo long term

for what its worth nabers also a year younger.

call me crazy, id rather have brock bowers than rome odunze

You're really all in on dude. I'm kinda surprised.

I admit I've watched little of JJ play. But I'm just really uneasy about taking a QB at #6. For obvious reasons.

My stance is that we can't afford to get this wrong. I know, scared money doesn't make none, but we've picked in the top ten 7 times in the last 10 years and all we have to show for it is Andrew Thomas and possibly Kayvon (Barkley and Jones should have never been drafted at 2 and 6).

That's really bad. I kinda want the safe pick here in terms of talent.

I’m not going to let DJ jade me towards JJ. At least this dude is warranting hype, that means people see something regardless to whom or what. Jones had no such buzz about him at all.

We need a QB. We can reset the team with a QB.

I kinda don't like that it's on a sports betting channel, and this is a month old, but here's more Brett Kollman talking up JJ McCarthy as well as some guys you've never heard of:

BaF Lakers:

Darius Garland/Cory Joseph
Klay Thompson/Shaedon Sharpe
Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter
Evan Mobley/Tari Eason
Nic Claxton/Draymond Green

We will how much smoke this is cause new reports are saying the giants are all in on Daniel Jones.

These were my thoughts last week or the week before when I said we spent all that money on Burns and Lock.

a lot will depend on the how the first 5 picks go.

They clearly are doing there due diligence on all the QB's

The DeVito games look so stupid right now. He's not even going to be on the roster next season and we would've been sitting much more comfortable with a higher pick.

as they should.

There has been no mention of Jayden?

You know I dont liek Caleb. I guess they already know washington wont pass on him/

We should be very afraid of Peters in Washington. That team already has some players. I expect them to start rising soon. That dude knows how to scout like his life depended on it.

Can't remember a team in recent memory who just kept finding so many good players as the 49ers do year after year.
