I’ve seen him create with the basketball. We’re not using our players correctly. Our better players need a free flowing offense to thrive. You can’t freeze IQ, DD, Hart or Grimes out. Randle and RJ tend to make ball movement impossible.

Brunson bears some responsibility though I think that it's more RJ and Randle. RJ gets tunnel vision and Randle considers himself as the alpha dog. I just think that we need to run some plays to get Grimes open and Grimes has to learn to be more aggressive. Just like how Josh Hart turned it around. I think that we need Grimes to get going for us to succeed against the better teams. This is particularly true since RJ's recent regressions.

The second unit hasn’t been all that much of a strength really. At this point I would bring him off the bench and start Donte until we figure something else out. Put him in there and see if he will play differently or look for his shot more. Maybe he can build back some confidence. Because it’s very clear he is struggling in the current role right now

I’m usually an advocate of letting people play through their struggles but I think we might be past that point since he is complaining to the media, something needs to change fast

Thibs system is terrible. ISO/Read and react is as lazy as it gets. It doesn't necessarily create the best shots/scoring opportunities. Players strengths get ignored. There's very little off ball movement with any purpose. The ball stops too often while players are just standing around in the corner waiting for a pass that may never come or, comes too late in the shot clock forcing up a bad shot. If players aren't shooting lights out from 3 and they aren't in the hierarchy of 20 shots a game, they may struggle. Then Thibs comes with the hook and sits them. Meanwhile you have lazy ass Randle not playing any defense and never gets held accountable. It's worse this season because we have no backup worth a damn so, his leash is even longer than it was previously. We don't have the talent to play this way either. Thibs just keeps square pegging the round hole!

The interesting thing is that the starting lineup has a +5 net rating which is not bad. Still, Thibs needs to run some plays for Grimes since he’s not an iso baller.
