Also we started bad because we had like 8 injuries the first 2 months, we went .500 once our team was healthy. Prob even better if we didn't tank the last week to get better draft position.

How has Black been? He played some serious defense on Brunson tonight. Even when Brunson beat him he was looking over his shoulder. Seems incredibly raw as a scorer but was doing everything else tonight.

Suggs may not be an on the ball type scoring pg, but he developed into a really good 2 way player. Maybe one of the best defensive guards in the league.

We haven't really given him as much freedom yet, but he's been a great defender and connector piece for us while the other guys get their usage up. His three is a WIP but actually hits it at a decent rate and is always in the gym trying to improve it. I think once he fills out a bit more and we get some volume shooting guy off the bench we'll be an actual threat, until then I think the team just wants to make the playins or playoffs this year.. we shall see..

Yeah I definitely saw several fouls they just ignored. Brunson was not getting any respect from the refs tonight.

Internal improvement from young players, and Suggs/Black backcourt is excellent defensively, Black is their lottery pick from 2023. He was the big haired kid pressing Brunson full court for the entire game.

They beat us last year as well.

Fultz is the usual starter, but word.

On the low, they're better without him. Suggs and Black are just dogs on defense

most of IQ’s misses were when the game was on the line. So we can’t draw any connections between today and his playoffs? It’s one game. But starters need to be good when it matters most, otherwise they’re … not starters.
