Dinwiddie is not a good fit, imo

THIS!!

Plus, Dimwitted HATES the KNICKS. Last time we took a look at him he said he didn't think him going to the KNICKS was "a good fit."

I'll pass...

Also, he sucks. 39% from the field this season

If we sign Lowry he can't be used against us. Taj we probably should just keep. We will see what else shakes loose, but obviously I would love a Frank/Knox return.

Knox has looked legitimately good any time he gets real run. IDK if he is just terrible at attending practice or what, but he can shoot for sure and his defense/rebounding have improved. He can give us an approximation of what Toppin did last year no problem.

Frank if nothing else can 3-D. Knox can drop an efficient 20 whenever needed.
Anyone old enough to remember Lee Nailon? John Wallace (though personality was much better)?

Luckily, I don't think we have to worry about Dinwiddie nor Joe Harris. Those Nyets can go to LA or w/e.

It's impossible to forget Lee Nailon. I wish that I could. JW I remember well, as well. If he was only willing to play defense, he could have been a star in the league. Knicks actually acquired him twice, once in the draft and then either in Free Agency or via trade. But Van Gundy refused to play him because of his defense. He wasted his talent by refusing to up his defensive game.

So see? Kevin Knox has a perfect role here! Those games where Spree/Houston were out and Nailon was given the role of "okay go score, just don't f up too bad on defense today" were fun.

Just please no more former Knicks busts. We don't need the Frank stans hijacking every thread with their bs.

Plus Thibs isn't going to play them. Get him some proven vets like Ish Smith, Gallo, Mook, Rolo.

I think Joe Harris' career might be over tbh, but you're right. Neither of those guys should be on the Knicks radar. Especially Dinwiddie. Inefficient, doesn't defend and his attitude is horrible and has been for years now, he sucks his own dick. LeBron can have fun with that.

The funny part is, for all the talk in this thread about adding former Knick or Net players, Leon already nailed it by landing both Bojan and Burks. Those guys are perfect fits skill and temperament wise.

Yeah Nailon could hoop. He just would never commit to playing on both ends.

I remember John Wallace too. He actually turned 50 yesterday! Crazy how time just flies, i remember watching hoop at Syracuse when i was like in 5th grade

I mean this team still has clear needs. I would have liked for us to get Bones Hyland somehow, but never the less, we are going to need a legit playmaking guard who can run an offense - not just Derek Fisher an offense.
With iHart and Mitch having these injuries - a rim protector would be nice as well. Biyombo and RoLo are probably the best on the open market.

More importantly Knickfans hate him and his MID combo guard game.
