Re: The Precious Achiuwa Props thread
I would extend Precious with a multi-year reasonable contract and then trade Mitch Robinson.
Precious's ability to play the 4 and 5, play elite defense, and finish around the rim is a breath of fresh air.
He pairs well next to Randle and OG. Just a real nice bench piece.

I’m in. We can’t tear him down until we build him up.

Re: The Precious Achiuwa Props thread
I just don't think he can play the 5 that well, he's too small a lot of the time. So I wonder what fit he has once Randle/Mitch are back, maybe Randle's backup but thats like 8 minutes a game cause of Thibs.

He's been great. Other than a few offensive plays, I haven't seen the boneheadedness he was accused of. And he's a menace on defense and the boards. Maybe he develops a bit like a modern Mase.

yup I really dont think he's a C
but rather a good backup PF
the problem is spacing.
he really needs to become a shooter to justify minutes at PF and the problem is that he cannot defend as a C.

Wasn’t the issue with him that we won’t be able to re-sign him in the off-season. They’re gonna have OG and probably redo. Brunson leaving, nothing for PA.

He’d be a decent 10-12 mpg backup. I stand by him not being a starting caliber player
I give him credit for trying though. I like him

I see him as injury backup. If someone gets hurt he can step in and give you 20 minutes for a week or two. For some team in contention who signs him or we keep him and trade him for some seconds sometime next season.

I’d probably just let him walk for nothing and not lose much sleep over it unless he wants to stay on a super team friendly deal

Well he’s an expiring contract, we have a lot of money on the books, hartenstein is also expiring and we gotta try to pay him, what you wanna give him? I’m not a cap expert or anything but it doesn’t seem reasonable

Re: The Precious Achiuwa Props thread
Is he good? Yes but doesn’t really fit with our plan. We have Mitch and all the metrics tell you Mitch is a great young player.
Precious just a casualty of our roster strength and that NY is a win now team. He’ll maybe be very good, but for some other team.

iHart is great 20-24 mpg player. He will never be anything more with his Achilles. 15-16 mil is my max for him. Precious can have Burks 10 mil all day. We can do both moves easily.
RIP mags
