Great news, and yet, it tells us nothing. Great PR. I'd rather Thibs just go with "Just a medical thing."

From Dr. Sutterer. He says that it was appropriate for Julius to attempt to rehab it first. This rehab will be helpful post-surgery. He's also pessimistic about OG coming back

For those that don't know you buzz, OG is not 99.9% healthy.

Brooklyn...that's when OG returns imo.

Yes, it's after the Bucks and Celtics games but it's possible the Knicks brass doesn't want to give those potential playoff matchups a preview of what this team looks like with OG on it.

Neither have played the Knicks since OG so they only get film to prepare without getting a chance to actually run plays against it. I think this is an advantage for the Knicks as slight as it might be, it's as much mystery as they can generate under the conditions.

So be patient for another week, don't be surprised or agitated if that's as long as it takes. I guess with him already running 5v5s he could potentially come back sooner but I suspect they will be conservative.

It seems we already have heard the 'couple games' to get ready idea floating out there and that kind of fits the schedule. I really don't think the Knicks need to see OG against those two playoffs teams to know what they have and just may prefer the extra time right now for him to heal.

This is just speculation based on deductive reasoning, I'm just watching like everyone else.
