Yeah I saw this the other day. It was heartbreaking to hear that he's suffering like this. The guy was always this little ball of energy that defied all odds to become who he is.

I hope he can find a donor. God this sucks.

Shamm doesn’t have have much time left on this earth at his age. If it wasn’t for the 5-pack a day cigarette habit, I’d suggest that he donate his.

One of my all time favorite Knicks, the kid is fearless and an inspiration to all us short kings, praying for him to get his health together.

I spent 5 years as a dialysis technician and am think of going back as a nurse or administrator.

I can say that a lot of people live happy healthy lives as long as they receive their regular treatments and follow their recommended dietary guidelines.

Sad to hear and really hope he can find a donor a pull thru. Hooped with him once randomly at the gym. He was mad cool. Gave away a bunch of merchandise.

How does this happen to a young and seemingly healthy athlete? Is it hereditary?

Aw man, that's terrible. Seeing him talk about his situation made me very sad. He will always be a special knick, because he played with the heart of lion and joy at the same time. He is a true warrior. I hope he can go through this and be with his family for as long as possible.

I believe some supplements for training can put added strain on Kidneys. IDK what his case is, but I know that is a thing.
wish him well.

Sounded like they picked up on it early in his rookie year with the Knicks..

so probably some hereditary thing I would guess.
