He hit 1000 and they still continued to give him open looks, so I wouldn’t bank on that

Yea I'm sure they think that Josh can't sustain that level of accuracy, and they'd rather pick their poison.

To the point maybe we can give him a shot to guard Maxey. He's probably the quickest player on the team...we need some speed to matchup with Maxey (he's a blur).

I was thinking we should try hart but I like your idea more. Donte navigates screens better than Hart does. I also like the idea of OG or Hart as the weak side help guys than DiVincenzo too.

Been following Hart since he's been in the league. That's why I've been watching Knicks games since he joined your team. He's the worst guy to put on a quick guard. That's not his strong point. He will get blown by everytime. He's better suited guarding sg,sf or even pf. He's strong as an ox. I've seen him get posted up by Ayton when he was with the Lakers and Ayron couldn't move him an inch.

Embiid to me has always had an air of negativity about him as a human being/personality, and I believe it’s a strong factor in why he folds year-in year-out when it matters. Just my opinion, but Randle has similar energy.

People cried when we lost Randle, but we are very lucky to have one season of the Nova Knicks. This feels more like ncaa March madness than the nba playoffs right now, and I’m loving it. Randle is the second best basketball player on our roster, but sometimes the sum of the parts does not equal the whole. This group is very special as is.

If Randle was healthy, you guys would have been up and Brunson probably isn't shooting like 2004 nba finals Kobe

If I'm a 6er fan I'm more pissed at iHart getting the board with 4 6ers there or Maxey flopping or nurse not calling a TO before the inbounds pass or even lowry throwing that trash inbound pass.

Begging for the refs to bail you out is basically this

The Sixers have been getting outworked and outhustled, and now they're crying because the refs aren't bailing them out.

They lack class and grace. Instead of shutting up, taking the L and focusing, they're crying to the media.

TrueWarrior wrote:Donte is getting props for the game winning shot of course, but not enough love for what he did before Jalen’s three.

Jalen drove and lost the ball at the top of the key. Donte immediately rushed in from the corner to a pack of people to grab it. He then backs up, crosses over, drives, does a high gather to avoid swipes, sucks the defense in enough to kick it to Jalen for the trey.

That is not something a normal 3 pt gunner does. Donte isnt perfect of course, but he’s way more well rounded than some give him credit for. Played great defense in this one too. He wasn’t guarding Maxey much. When he’s rested his defense can be legit though.

It was looking like Donte wasnt even going to close the game but Deuce looked tired, and made a couple dubious plays/fouls down the stretch which kinda forced Thibs’ hand. So many things went right in the end.

Deez I think said try him on Maxey. Worth a shot

Or coach Deuce to be more aggressive

I think their defense is pretty set. They will take their chances with Josh shooting 40%+ over letting Brunson get 30.

It's almost worked twice now.

Yeah, what he said. It's not often coaches -- especially someone like Nurse -- will change how do they things defensively. What Nurse isn't doing is properly scouting some of those 3's from Josh. Josh's 3 point shooting is a lot stronger from straight away than it is in corner. I'm not sure if it's by Thibs' or Nurse's design that's forcing Josh into those comfortable 3's, but him hitting those in the post season isn't an anomaly. He was 38% from that area this season. He's 7 for 10 from those shots in the playoffs from those same spots.

Take what they give you and make them pay for it.

Thank you. This is what I’ve been saying!

He did do this in the 3rd. He was feeding iHart a lot.

He hasn't been taking wild shots. These are his normal looks. He is just not making them. The more he misses the more uncomfortable he is looking.

He is either going to start hitting them or the ship is going to sink. We only go as far as Brunson is taking us.

I didn't love the contested corner 3 he took at the close of the game. but it was dope he let it rip and had the fortuitous bounce at the end.

He'll get right moving forward.

Yep he made some excellent reads to find IHart for easy scores.

I just think that trying to force spinning fade aways against a 6'7 defender and a help defender isn't a good shot. If it was him versus Lowry or Maxey 1 v 1 cool, but the length Oubre and Harris are bothering him. I just think adding a simple wrinkle or two to get him some cleaner looks will get him going.

I honestly think that is a big part of why people don't consider him the GOAT. His resume stands for itself, you really can't argue with his success and numbers and talent....but man...MJ (as much as he pissed me off because we couldn't beat him). Was so much more likeable. Similar feelings towards Kobe...I just enjoyed them more because they didn't come will all that other BS that LeBron does.

Also, MJ (or Kobe) never went around telling everybody "Hey, I'm the greatest, right?" like lebron does.

If you have to keep convincing everyone you're great, maybe you're not. :noway:

Shut up LeBron … the Knicks got the worse end of the calls last night actually

Think about how lame it would have been for refs to have called something for either team at that moment. Would have robbed us of a classic.

Also...

IT IS THE NBA PLAYOFFS. It's always been physical hoops. They're not gonna call ticky tack fouls and bang bang plays.

I was curious if Embiid even got the 3 off in time, in real time it didn't look like it, but I just checked and its like 0.1 its in his hand, but 0.0 its out of his hand.

That would've been INSANE. Thank god he didn't hit it I think it would've counted.

Hart / Mitch / Achi
Bogs / Hart / OG
OG / Hart / Bogs
Donte / Deuce / Hart
Brunson / Deuce / Donte

Bogs can easily play 16 mins per game

3-6 mins each quarter and always with Brunson and Donte in the lineup
Strength and Honour!
