If by upset you mean me sarcastic at the notion that a player not saying what people want to hear means they aren't doing enough then yea... upset.
The Sixers haven't shown anything new, he's seen all this before, it's Brunson missing shots he typically makes, what can he say to change that?

Mustard Melo on the baseline with a broomstick....is this a game of clue?

Melton helps them but they need a rebounder more.

That may solve their problem. we really stole the last game. it probably should be 1-1. i wouldn't be surprised if we lose these next 2. it's gonna be harder.
This is a thoughtful contribution and it's a paragraph long so I have only one question...who are you and what have you done with the real shammgod?!?!?!
Interesting, I didn't really pick up on that but I did see him pass off to Maxey once without looking at the hoop. If he's getting worse, then obviously that hurts them a lot. I'm sure Maxey will be good the rest of the way unless Deuce can slow him down.

I got some inside news about Mitch injury I’m scared to drop it was a random tip lol. Then the injury news came out and I’m like hmmmmm.
I’ll just say if he plays then he is fine. If not, we should be worried.

Right and he hasnt played well even when "healthy" this year. Him coming in trying t play hero might actually help us.

Everything centers on Embiid’s health.
Pun intended.

How good of shape could a guy be if he’s missed 4 months with a back injury? Melton solid but after missing so much time, I’m not expecting him to be in a good rhythm either.

If no one mentioned it, ESPN has a great story on the Nova Knicks - and how DVD & JB bonded over dislike of a fellow teammate in 2016. Guess who? It's also a Pocket save.

Im Coming Home wrote:Didn't realize so many people would be upset about my 'doesn't sound promising' comment.
I just felt like it came off like a 'gotta keep doing what i do' type comment that didn't show a change in approach. Obviously Brunson is smarter than that, but he didn't really look much better in Game 2 than he did in Game 1 so it just is concerning.
Personally I don’t think he needs to change his approach, he just needs to make shots aka be better. So I’m on board with what he’s saying. He’s not gonna change what got us this far and decide to stop shooting and be a facilitator or whatever people are thinking. He has gotta shoot himself out of the slump and stay aggressive and play his game. He should shoot with confidence especially now that he knows that his teammates have his back and we can still win 2 games even if he plays like ass. The idea that it’s just Brunson and a bunch of bums has been flipped on its head, we have some competitors and dogs on this team that can bail him out
