Brunson figured out Philly. I actually think he’ll put up another 40 on Tuesday. Hopefully the rest of the team can hit their shots too.

I am glad we didn’t waste any assets on Rozier. That was one of the worst ideas I’ve ever seen on this board

he has a tendency to suck in elimination games but we can't get too cute now. can't turn down big time talents when we have guys like donte who's been choking on both ends. same with people who don't want embiid, donovan mitchell.. etc. even goes back to when people didn't want to trade KP for booker. we get too attached to our role players and overrate them like crazy. we saw it in the frank days when nobody wanted to trade him either lol

Well he’s playing in an elimination game now and has 37 on 10-14 shooting in the 3rd quarter. the suns are just a trash organization

We are riding on the high of being up 3-1 but eventually we (probably… maybe?) will lose a series and when that day does come we will be more open to adding more help. Right now we are too good for everyone

As mentioned, I’d rather go after players that fit our team’s identity and would compliment the players we have.

Denver might go on to the Finals again with no other All-Star besides Jokic. But they built a team that compliments his strengths and offsets his weaknesses. That should be our main focus.

We should play precious for the rest of the post season

Let him get 10mins. He’s had an impact almost every single time he’s ever played for us

This guy does a nice job objectively analyzing the Knicks-Sixers series.

Dunno about that but they did beat us badly a couple times this year and I don’t love the matchup. If they do get hot from 3 we probably don’t have the offensive firepower to keep pace. So we’d have to hope our defense can lock them down.

Of course we shouldn’t minimize the possibility that Philly wins 3 straight either. Even talking about this is bad juju

I think this is the first game in my very many years of watching basketball where I thought to myself, theres no way their superstar can play more minutes effectively than our superstar, knowing thats what it'd come down to. I didn't think Nurse was going to just leave Embiid out there the whole second half but that clearly didn't work.

Embiid's tank is about 32 mins of good offense and defense but once you get beyond that, his defense plummets and his offense becomes spot up 3s off Maxey PnR. Meanwhile, Jalen has played 40+ for like 2 months now and is completely used to performing exhausted.

Another note, everyone is praising Precious's job on Embiid but I think the main factor that Precious brings is that he can switch onto Maxey and bother him a lot more than any of our bigs. I feel like Embiid is going to score a ton of points and run out of gas regardless of who guards him so shutting down Maxey's lanes is probably more important.
